About this event

Sustainability Matters' Making Trash Bloom project - native pollinator and wildlife habitat at landfills - has arrived in Rapp! One year on, join us at possibly the most unusual brunch spot ever, to snack, socialize, and see what has germinated!

A sustainably sourced spread - with a brunch theme - will be served by Making Trash Bloom's “Official Culinary Sponsor,” Friendly City Food Co-op.

Registration is required, so we know how many people to plan for. Please dress appropriately to be outdoors at the landfill and bring your own chair.

Brunch at the Landfill is funded by grants from the PATH Foundation and the Northern Piedmont Community Foundation. We're deeply grateful for their generosity, as well as that of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative, sponsor of this event.

Check out last year's seed sowing Party at the Rapp Landfill in the video (a winning submission for the 2023 Project for Awesome nonprofit video contest)!
